Requirements

  • Install the package and choose a model backend.
  • Alternatively, use the published container with a persistent Hermes data volume.
  • The hermes-life-os package or container is required.
  • Provide a persistent Hermes memory volume.
  • Use Ollama or a supported hosted model provider.
  • A gateway, cron schedule, data imports, and an Atropos environment are optional.

How to use

The local correlation engine surfaces relationships only after enough overlapping observations exist.

The workflow supports onboarding, morning briefings, midday check-ins, evening reflections, weekly reviews, chat, data import, and optional Atropos training; it can use Ollama or supported hosted providers and deliver through Hermes gateways.

Correlation is not causation; treat surfaced relationships as hypotheses rather than medical findings.

This is a wellness and reflection workflow, not a diagnostic system; leave medication, mental-health, and symptom decisions to qualified professionals.

Before onboarding, decide which categories are appropriate to store because health and financial logs are sensitive.

Set up the workflow.

Install the package and select a backend using the source-provided route.

pip install "hermes-life-os[all]"

# Fully local option
ollama serve
ollama pull llama3.1

hermes-life-os --mode onboard
hermes-life-os --mode morning
hermes-life-os --mode chat

Alternatively, run the published container with a persistent Hermes data volume and the selected provider configuration.

docker run --rm -it \
  -e ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=sk-ant-... \
  -v hermes-life-os-data:/root/.hermes \
  ghcr.io/lethe044/hermes-life-os:latest --mode morning

Use the supplied prompts to ask what patterns the system has noticed in the stored observations.

What patterns have you noticed in my data?

What predicts my mood?
