Edit PDFs with natural-language instructions via nano-pdf
Edit a specific page of a PDF with a natural-language instruction using the nano-pdf CLI.
Requirements
- The nano-pdf command-line tool must be available; it can be installed with uv from the nano-pdf package on PyPI.
How to use
Install nano-pdf (uv) so the nano-pdf binary is on your system before using the tool.
From the quick start, run a command like the one below to apply an edit to a specific page of a PDF by describing the change in natural language.
nano-pdf edit deck.pdf 1 "Change the title to 'Q3 Results' and fix the typo in the subtitle"
Page numbers are 0-based or 1-based depending on the tool's version or configuration; if the result looks off by one, retry with the other convention.
Always sanity-check the output PDF before sending it out.
